Multiplexed Tissue Analysis
Analysis of multiple biomarkers in tissues with preserved anatomical context offers new and increasingly powerful opportunities to extract essential information about the underlying mechanisms that drive various disease processes. Such analyses are therefore gaining strong adoption in clinical research and by teams within the pharmaceutical industry as valuable tools for eg. target validation, efficacy analyses and patient stratification.
These analyses are however demanding to execute as they require investments in an expensive infrastructure, finely calibrated and integrated work-flows and highly trained staff, in particular so when larger cohorts of tissues are to be processed and quantitatively analysed.
